Open to Hotel Guests and Day Visitors 7 days a week...

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served in the Dining Room or Outside on the Stoep / Veranda.

We pride ourselves on preparing delicious Seafood dishes, especially Crayfish and stock a selection of Local Wines from the Region.

Traditional Snoek / Meat / Snoek & Crayfish braais / BBQ's are available on request and must be booked in advance. Price on request.
We do not take any reservations unless it is for a group of 10 people or more.

Monday – Saturday
Breakfast: 08h00 – 10h30
Lunch/Dinner: 11h00 – 21h30
Sunday
Breakfast: 08h00 – 10h30
Lunch: 11h00 – 16h00
Dinner: 19h00 - 21h00

Restaurant open times during during December:

24 December – only open until 16h00
25 December – only open for our Christmas Lunch – Booking essential!
31 December – only open until 18h00 – Pub open until 20h00

The food on the menu contains ingredients that may cause allergic reactions, for example: shellfish & gluten.

Normal preparation time of food is between 20 & 40 minutes

Please note the following:

Orders placed between 12h00 – 16h00 may take 60min to prepare WHEN THE RESTAURANT IS FULL. Management also reserves the right to close the kitchen earlier than published times when we experience a high volume of customers.

Paternoster Hotel is well known for its hospitality throughout the years of business. It is our priority to render quality service to our guests and/visitors and to ensure that we serve you with the best quality food

We are open to receiving any legitimate / honest consumer complaints from our customers subject to the following:

The complaint must preferably be done in writing

Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds after the order was made if you simply change your mind, made the wrong decision or placed the wrong order. We may ask a fee if the return is accepted by management.

If the food is not up to standard, the defective food must immediately be reported to the waiter. We can assume that half eaten food is within the standard as required.
